Film Programme: Journey

We are proud to showcase "Journey" at this year’s "Female Filmmakers Festival Berlin", a powerful short about breaking free from conservative traditions. Inspired by the filmmaker’s own transformation, Journey offers a deeply personal and moving perspective on resilience and self-discovery.

Produced as part of Makani’s 'Film for Freedom' project, this film is one of ten created by Syrian refugee women who were given the tools to tell their stories through film.
