FFFB Jury 2024: Maja Costa

Meet the Jury of FFFB 2024!

We’re excited to welcome Maja Costa, a multilingual screenwriter and director with a rich and diverse background. From studying Cello at the Milan Conservatory to mastering Egyptology, Maja’s creative journey led her to the German Film and TV Academy Berlin (dffb) and Serial Eyes as a scholarship holder from SKY Italia.

Currently, she’s developing original series and adapting Nobel Prize winner Olga Tokarczuk's novel E.E. into a feature film. Her award-winning short film "Mångata" (2023), supported by the European Space Agency, has been screened at over 100 festivals worldwide!
